CANSON Montval Watercolour Paper Pads 300gsm Cold Pressed

CANSON Montval is a practice grade watercolour paper designed for artists who demand quality and control. Made from 100% cellulose, this 300gsm cold-pressed sheet offers excellent wet strength and dimensional stability.

The cold-pressed surface provides a balanced texture—enough tooth to hold pigment, enough smoothness for fine detail work. Ideal for transparent and opaque watercolour techniques, gouache, and mixed media.

USE
Wet the back of the sheet lightly and tape or stretch it to a board to prevent buckling during painting. Allow it to dry completely before removing tape. Pre-wet with clean water if you prefer a longer working time, or work on dry paper for more control. The paper's absorbency suits both wet washes and dry brushwork. After completion, allow the finished piece to dry flat away from direct heat or sunlight.
