WINSOR & NEWTON Artists Acrylic Slow Drying Medium extends the working time of acrylic paints, allowing for smoother blending and more controlled application. Ideal for detailed work and techniques that require extended open time on the canvas or paper.

How to use:

Mix the medium directly into your acrylic paint on your palette. Start with a ratio of 1 part medium to 3 parts paint, adjusting according to your desired consistency and drying time. Stir thoroughly to combine. The medium can be used with all WINSOR & NEWTON acrylic colours and remains fully compatible with other acrylics.

Apply as you would standard acrylic paint. The extended drying time allows greater opportunity for blending, layering, and corrections before the paint sets. Clean brushes and equipment with water before paint dries.
